  • 2018 - Price range: €0,01438 - €0,3856
    At the end of January, TRAC was around €0,34 and then rose shortly after to about €0,39. After that, the price fell for a long time, hitting a low around €0,014 in November. That month also saw the broader sell-off in the crypto market speed up. TRAC then recovered and ended the year around €0,018, still about 95,2% lower than the January peak.
  • 2019 - Price range: €0,005503 - €0,05271
    TRAC started the year around €0,018 and rose in April to about €0,053. After that, the price gradually fell and reached about €0,0055 in December. In the final weeks, it recovered; TRAC ended the year around €0,010, about 44,6% lower than at the start. At the end of December, OriginTrail released the Freedom-Gemini v4.0 upgrade. This made it easier to participate in the network and gave users more control over prices for network tasks.
  • 2020 - Price range: €0,003385 - €0,2418
    TRAC dropped sharply in March to about €0,0034. That was followed by a strong recovery: in August, the price rose to about €0,242. In the months after that, the price fell back and ended the year around €0,123, but that was still about 1.117,8% higher than at the start. The coronavirus crisis led to major interest rate cuts and extra support measures from the Federal Reserve in March, which changed financial conditions a lot.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0,1097 - €3,339
    TRAC rose from about €0,12 at the start of the year, with momentum picking up from October. In early November, the price climbed to about €3,34, after which it pulled back and ended the year around €1,07. That was still about 771,9% higher than at the start of the year. In 2021, OriginTrail expanded the network to Gnosis and Polygon, alongside Ethereum, so participants could use the Decentralized Knowledge Graph on more blockchain networks.
  • 2022 - Price range: €0,1395 - €1,179
    TRAC started the year around €1,07 and quickly fell in January to about €0,51. After a brief rebound in March, the price kept falling. The collapse of Terra and UST in May caused heavy turmoil in the crypto market; in November, new market stress followed the collapse of FTX. TRAC reached about €0,14 in November and ended the year around €0,148, about 86,2% lower than at the start.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0,1467 - €0,6797
    TRAC started the year around €0,15 and quickly rose in February to above €0,40. After that, the price pulled back and moved mostly between about €0,20 and €0,40 for months. In November and December, it rose strongly to about €0,68. TRAC ended the year around €0,654, about 342,9% higher than at the start. In November, OriginTrail released beta versions of OriginTrail World and ChatDKG, which let users ask questions based on information from the Decentralized Knowledge Graph.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0,401 - €1,407
    TRAC rose in the first few months from about €0,65 to around €1,41 in March. After that, the price pulled back, hitting a low around €0,40 in August, before recovering to about €0,83 at the end of the year. That meant TRAC ended about 26,2% higher than at the start. In January, the U.S. SEC approved trading in spot bitcoin investment products, an important step for regulated access to bitcoin for investors.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0,2454 - €1,22
    TRAC started the year around €0,83 and briefly peaked above €1,22 on January 1. After that, the price mostly fell, hitting a low around €0,245 in June. In the second half of the year, TRAC partially recovered and ended around €0,382, about 53,7% lower than at the start. In February, about 1.5 billion dollars was stolen from a Bybit crypto wallet in a major theft, a heavy shock for the broader crypto market.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0,2309 - €0,4174
    TRAC started the quarter around €0,382 and rose to about €0,417 in mid-January. After that, the price gradually fell, with a brief rebound in March, and ended the quarter around €0,232. That was about 39,2% lower than at the start. In February, OriginTrail 's Decentralized Knowledge Graph passed the two billion Knowledge Assets mark. In March, a testnet for DKG v9 was also rolled out, a test version of a new step in the development of shared and verifiable memory for AI agents.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0,220295 - €0,5397
    TRAC started April around €0,232 and mostly moved sideways that month. In May, the price briefly rose to about €0,54, but then pulled back. TRAC ended June around €0,228, almost the same level as at the start of the quarter. In June, OriginTrail worked on the mainnet rollout of DKG v10, a new version focused on shared context and verifiable memory for AI agents. Before the rollout, the smart contracts were put through a public security program.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0,20905 - €0,392985
    TRAC started July around €0,228 and briefly fell that month to about €0,209. In August, the price moved around €0,23 for a long time, after which it rose in September to about €0,393. The quarter ended around €0,373, about 63,7% higher than it started. In July, OriginTrail connected Google's Open Knowledge Format to the Decentralized Knowledge Graph. That lets portable knowledge bundles be given verifiable information about origin and ownership. Later that month, the project also announced a beta integration with Buzz, an open-source collaboration environment for people and AI agents.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0,336095 - €0,456425
    In early October, TRAC briefly rose to about €0,456. After that, the price fell for a few days and reached around €0,336. On October 9, TRAC was around €0,364, about 2,4% lower than on October 1.

Upcoming Technical Updates


  • NeuroSymbolic Marketplace - timing not yet known - OriginTrail is working on the first version of the NeuroSymbolic Marketplace. There, nodes can offer AI answers and knowledge lookups, with payments in TRAC. That gives the token a role in using services on the network, in addition to publishing knowledge. A launch date is not known yet.
