  • 2024 - Price range: €0.02637 - €0.1915
    REZ launched on April 30 as Renzo 's governance token. Shortly before that, ezETH, a separate restaking product, had fallen sharply below its underlying ETH value. This led to liquidations of DeFi positions using borrowed money and showed the risks of limited liquidity. REZ rose to about €0.1915 in early May, but then declined for a long time. In June, Renzo made it possible to redeem ezETH directly for underlying assets. After hitting a low around €0.02637 in November, REZ partially recovered and ended the year at €0.03511, about 81.7% lower than the May peak.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0.00353 - €0.03955
    REZ started the year at €0.03511 and climbed to about €0.03955 in the first few days. After that, the price mostly fell, with brief rebounds in March and July, down to €0.00353 in December. In October, Renzo expanded its offering with ezBTC, a restaking product backed by bitcoin. On October 10, a shock in the crypto market caused heavy liquidations. REZ ended the year at €0.00475, about 86.5% lower than at the start.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.0022385 - €0.00541
    REZ started the quarter at €0.00475 and briefly rose to about €0.00541 in January. After that, the price steadily declined, hitting a low around €0.0022385 at the end of February. In the same quarter, Renzo introduced an ezETH Loop Vault on Compound, which automatically manages a borrowing and lending strategy. In March, REZ partially recovered and ended the quarter at €0.0028516, 40% lower than at the start.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.00238505 - €0.0061285
    REZ started the quarter at €0.002836 and rose in April and early May to about €0.0061285. After that, the price fell back and reached about €0.00238505 at the end of June. In April, the cross-chain bridge of liquid restaking project KelpDAO was attacked, and about $292 million worth of rsETH was stolen. Although Renzo itself was not affected, the incident showed the risks that bridge and collateral problems can create for DeFi. REZ ended the quarter at €0.00262985, 7.3% lower than at the start.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.0020067 - €0.00444245
    REZ first fell in July from €0.00262985 to about €0.0020067. After that, the price gradually recovered, with a stronger rise in September, to about €0.00444245. In September, Renzo announced it would continue as Renzo Finance and introduced Renzo Basis. This lets users follow a strategy where they, for example, hold bitcoin while also opening an equal short position. The goal is to earn income from payments between traders while limiting the impact of price swings. REZ ended the quarter at €0.00420625, 59.9% higher than at the start.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.00315645 - €0.00432225
    At the beginning of October, REZ was at €0.00420285. After that, the price fell and reached about €0.00315645. On October 9, REZ recovered to €0.0034107, still 18.8% lower than at the start of the quarter.
