  • 2023 - Price range: €0,007748 - €0,07426
    FLR reached about €0,074 in early January, but then mostly declined for the rest of the year. In October, the price fell to about €0,00775. After that, it recovered: by the end of December, FLR was around €0,017, about 119.4% higher than at the low point. In January, the public distribution of FLR tokens began. Later that month, the community approved a proposal to distribute the remaining tokens over 36 months to holders of wrapped FLR. The proposal also lowered the planned inflation.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0,01106 - €0,05156
    FLR started the year around €0,017 and rose to about €0,052 in February. After that, the price gradually fell, hitting a low of around €0,011 in November. In the final weeks of the year, FLR recovered and closed around €0,025, about 47.5% higher than at the start of the year. In early 2024, U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs were approved, an important new way for investors to get exposure to bitcoin through regulated products.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0,0085907 - €0,0317653
    FLR rose to about €0,032 in January, but then mostly declined and ended the year around €0,00868. That was about 65.4% lower than at the start of the year. The price moved sharply up and down in April and May in the meantime, but did not recover in a lasting way. In April, U.S. tariff announcements caused unrest in the financial markets, while FAssets went live on Flare mainnet in September. That allowed XRP holders to mint FXRP and use it in apps on Flare.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0,0065596 - €0,0112953
    FLR rose to about €0,0113 in the first week of January, but then gradually fell. In February, there was a short rebound, after which the price kept dropping and stood around €0,00677 at the end of March. That was about 22% lower than at the start of the quarter. In January, the 36-month FlareDrops distribution ended. In early February, a broad sell-off across the crypto market also picked up speed.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0,0055633 - €0,0086555
    FLR fell in April from about €0,00677 and slipped a little further in early May. After that, the price climbed to about €0,00866 in mid-May, but that move did not last. In June, FLR dropped further and closed the quarter around €0,00562, about 17.1% lower than at the start. In April, FLR holders approved proposal FIP.16, which lowers inflation from 5% to 3%; the first reduction was carried out in May.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0,005044 - €0,006952
    FLR briefly rose in early July, but then fell to about €0,00504 in August. After that, the price recovered and climbed to about €0,00695 by the end of August. FLR closed September around €0,00650, about 15.8% higher than at the start of the quarter. In July, Flare Smart Accounts v1.3 made XRP to DeFi more accessible: users could carry out supported actions with a single signature from their XRP wallet.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0,00594995 - €0,0066507
    FLR was around €0,00650 at the start of October and briefly rose to about €0,00665. After that, the price fell to about €0,00595 on October 8, followed by a partial recovery. On October 9, FLR was around €0,00628, about 3.4% lower than on October 1. On October 6, Firelight went live, a protocol that provides protection against certain risks in DeFi products. The first protection applied to two Sentora vaults and was backed by FXRP tokens that users had locked up.

Upcoming Technical Updates


  • Flare Confidential Compute - timing not yet known - Flare Confidential Compute is already available on Songbird, but still needs to come to Flare mainnet. A launch date is not known. The technology processes sensitive data in a secure environment and delivers results that smart contracts can verify, without making the data itself public. For example, reserves can be checked without publishing confidential financial information on the blockchain.
