  • 2018 - Price range: €0.01105 - €0.1952
    On January 25, ZIL was trading around €0.11. In May, the price climbed to nearly €0.20, but then a long decline followed. In November, the broader crypto market continued to fall. That month, Zilliqa also launched Testnet v3, a public test version where developers could try out the network setup. ZIL fell to about €0.011 in December and ended the year around €0.017.
  • 2019 - Price range: €0.003894 - €0.02371
    ZIL started the year around €0.017 and rose to about €0.022 in January. The price reached nearly €0.024 in June, but then gradually declined and fell further in the second half of the year. Zilliqa launched its own mainnet in January and enabled smart contracts in June, allowing developers to build apps on the network. ZIL ended the year around €0.004, about 76.5% lower than at the start.
  • 2020 - Price range: €0.002215 - €0.08077
    ZIL started the year around €0.004 and dropped to about €0.0022 in March. After that, the price gradually moved higher, with a strong acceleration in the final months: by the end of December, ZIL reached about €0.081. The price ended the year around €0.068, an increase of about 1,596.9% compared with the start of January. In October, Zilliqa staking also went live, letting holders lock up ZIL to earn rewards.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0.04260 - €0.2135
    After dipping to about €0.043 in January, ZIL rose sharply in the spring. In May, the price climbed to about €0.21, after which a steep drop followed. That pullback lined up with a broad crypto sell-off and stricter Chinese restrictions on crypto services. ZIL ended the year around €0.066, about 69.2% lower than the May peak. Later in the year, Zilliqa announced Metapolis, a planned metaverse project.
  • 2022 - Price range: €0.01448 - €0.2062
    ZIL started the year around €0.066 and rose sharply in March and early April, to about €0.21. After that, the price fell for months. In May, TerraUSD and LUNA collapsed, causing heavy stress across the crypto and DeFi market. In November, the FTX collapse followed, which again caused broad market turmoil. ZIL ended the year around €0.0148, about 77.6% lower than at the start.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0.01374 - €0.03458
    ZIL rose in January and February from about €0.015 to nearly €0.035. After that, the price pulled back and moved around €0.015 in the summer. Starting in September, a recovery followed; ZIL ended the year around €0.023, about 57.2% higher than at the start. In April, Zilliqa added support for the Ethereum Virtual Machine. That allowed developers to use Solidity apps with familiar Ethereum tools on the network as well.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0.009816 - €0.04033
    ZIL started the year around €0.023 and rose to about €0.040 in February and March. After that, the price dropped sharply and fell to around €0.0098 in August. By the end of the year, ZIL had recovered to about €0.019. In early January, the U.S. regulator approved spot bitcoin ETFs, making bitcoin more accessible to investors through regulated exchange-traded products. Zilliqa also launched Jasper in September, a testnet for the planned network upgrade.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0.00365 - €0.02406
    ZIL started the year around €0.019 and briefly rose to about €0.024 in January. After that, the price fell for almost the entire year, with a low around €0.0037 in December. In February, Zilliqa faced a security issue with X-Bridge, after which the project temporarily shut down the bridge and related features. In June, Zilliqa 2.0 went live: the upgraded network switched to proof-of-stake and got a new staking system. ZIL ended the year around €0.004, about 79.5% lower than at the start.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.00285 - €0.006735
    ZIL started the quarter around €0.004 and briefly rose to just above €0.005 in January. In early February, a sharp spike followed to about €0.0067, after which the price fell back and reached around €0.0029 on February 8. After that, ZIL mostly traded around €0.0035 and ended the quarter around €0.0033, about 16.7% lower than at the start. In March, Zilliqa introduced zUSDC, a version of USDC bridged through XBridge for use in the ecosystem. With that, the project replaced the earlier bridge infrastructure for USDC with its own solution.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.002430 - €0.004015
    ZIL started the quarter around €0.0033 and rose to about €0.0040 in May. In June, the price fell back, with a low around €0.0024, and ended the quarter around €0.0025. That was about 24.1% lower than at the start. In April, the European regulator ESMA made it clear that crypto providers needed to prepare for the end of the transition period under MiCA, the European crypto rules.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.001886 - €0.003927
    ZIL fell in July and August and dropped to about €0.0019 on August 18. After that, the price recovered strongly and rose to nearly €0.0039 in September. ZIL ended the quarter around €0.0031, about 24.8% higher than at the start. The period was also marked by a serious security incident. Because of a vulnerability in the old Zilliqa app for Ledger wallets, attackers were able to reconstruct private keys from previously published signatures. According to Zilliqa's investigation, about 683 million ZIL were stolen as a result. On July 20, the project disabled transactions through the legacy network to prevent further theft. In September, Zilliqa began migrating existing funds to the new EVM environment.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.002816 - €0.003378
    Through October 9, ZIL first traded around €0.0031 and rose to about €0.0034 on October 5. After that, ZIL fell to around €0.0028, followed by a recovery to about €0.0031. On October 9, KuCoin completed the migration of ZIL holdings to Zilliqa EVM, and deposits and withdrawals on the new network became possible. At that point, the price was about 0.4% lower than on October 1.
