Wormhole Price History


  • 2024 - Price range: €0.1491 - €0.769
    The price was around €0.72 on April 10 and briefly peaked at €0.769 soon after. W then dropped sharply in the summer, down to €0.1491 in August. By the end of the year, the price had recovered to €0.2755. W launched on April 3 as the governance token for the already existing Wormhole protocol.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0.0201 - €0.3135
    W started the year around €0.2755 and rose to €0.3135 in the first few days. After that, the price fell for a long stretch, with a brief bounce in May, down to €0.0201 in October. That steep drop lined up with the broad crypto sell-off and liquidations after the announcement of extra U.S. tariffs on October 10. W ended the year at €0.028, about 89.8% lower than at the start.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.0122 - €0.0355
    W briefly rose to €0.0355 in early January, but then fell almost continuously. The price ended the quarter at €0.0124, about 55.7% lower than at the start. In March, Wormhole announced that Standard Relaying had been phased out and that automatic message delivery would stop on April 1. Developers were advised to switch to Executor; the Wormhole messaging feature itself remained available.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.007364 - €0.014135
    W started the quarter around €0.0124 and climbed to €0.014135 in May. After that, the price fell, hitting a low of €0.007364 in June, before recovering to €0.008256 at the end of the quarter. In April, Wormhole ended support for Scroll, which meant users could no longer send outgoing messages or token transfers through Wormhole. In June, RLUSD became available on additional blockchain networks through Wormhole Native Token Transfers.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.00679695 - €0.0142225
    W fell to €0.00679695 in July and mostly traded around that low level in August. In September, the price picked up and rose to €0.0142225, after which W ended the quarter at €0.01188755. In August, Wormhole announced it would end support for Berachain and Injective: the planned dates were August 31 and September 30. That would mean Wormhole would no longer support outgoing messages through those networks.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.011485 - €0.01663415
    At the start of October, W was around €0.0119. The price rose in the days after that and reached €0.01663415; on October 9, W was at €0.0153838. During the same period, the U.S. CFTC announced it was looking into new rules for certain crypto transactions, including trading with borrowed money or leverage. The regulator asked market participants for feedback; no final rules had been introduced yet.
