  • 2018 - Price range: €0,00029 - €0,00964
    TEL quickly rose to about €0,00964 in January, but then fell for a long time. In November, the broader crypto sell-off accelerated. TEL dropped to about €0,00029 and ended the year around €0,00037, about 96.2% lower than the January peak.
  • 2019 - Price range: €0,00019 - €0,00121
    TEL fell to about €0,00019 in January and then recovered strongly. In May, the price briefly climbed to about €0,00121, after which a long decline followed. That year, Telcoin launched its first mobile app: a wallet for storing and sending TEL. TEL ended the year around €0,00031, about 14.4% lower than at the start.
  • 2020 - Price range: €0,000058 - €0,00046
    TEL started the year around €0,00031 and fell in March during the global COVID-19 market shock to about €0,000058. After that, the price gradually recovered and rose to about €0,00046 in August. That same year, Telcoin replaced its Ethereum token contract and holders received replacement TEL. By the end of December, the price had fallen back to about €0,00015, 53.8% lower than at the start of the year.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0,00014 - €0,05349
    TEL started January around €0,00014 and rose quickly in the spring. In February, Telcoin's first public transfer route went live, from Canada to GCash in the Philippines. The price peaked in May at around €0,05349 and then dropped sharply. In November, Telcoin introduced V3 Polygon wallets and a way to move existing TEL into those wallets. TEL ended the year around €0,01036, about 80.6% lower than the May peak, but still much higher than at the start of the year.

    TEL started the year around €0,01036 and fell sharply over the course of the year. In May, the collapse of TerraUSD caused major turmoil in the crypto market, followed by problems at crypto lenders and the collapse of FTX in November. Telcoin added trading for 11 cryptocurrencies to its app in February, but the broader market stress remained the backdrop for a weak year. In October, TEL dropped to about €0,00120 and the year ended around €0,00177, about 82.9% lower than at the start.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0,00084 - €0,00289
    TEL rose in January and February to about €0,00289, but then fell back. In October, Telcoin proposed a new governance model, with more input from token holders and liquidity providers, among others. At the end of December, the app was shut down after an attack on the wallet software on Polygon. About 1.2 million dollars disappeared from affected accounts, and the price dropped sharply. TEL ended the year around €0,00145.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0,001035 - €0,008071
    TEL fell to about €0,001035 in January and then climbed gradually. In January, Telcoin restored the balances of affected users and resumed app services after the December attack. The price picked up strongly, especially in the fall, and rose to about €0,008071 in early December. After that, it pulled back; TEL ended the year around €0,004807, still about 231.3% higher than at the start of the year.

    TEL rose in January and February and climbed to about €0,012273 in mid-February. After that, the price fell over the course of the year, with a low around €0,002215 in November. In February, Telcoin received conditional approval for its application for a digital asset bank in Nebraska. On November 12, the final license followed, allowing Telcoin Digital Asset Bank to operate as a specialized digital asset bank. The price recovered from the low levels in November and ended the year around €0,003329, about 30.7% lower than at the start.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0,0017065 - €0,003789
    TEL started January around €0,003329 and later that month reached about €0,003789. After that, the price fell for almost the entire period, down to around €0,0017065 at the end of March. Kraken opened TEL trading in January, giving another major crypto exchange access to the token. TEL ended the quarter around €0,001808, about 45.7% lower than at the start.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0,0016775 - €0,0035265
    TEL started April around €0,001788 and initially stayed close to that level. In May, the price rose quickly to about €0,0035265, after which it pulled back. On June 23, Telcoin Digital Asset Bank launched personal bank accounts for U.S. users, linked to eUSD balances in the Telcoin Wallet. TEL ended the quarter around €0,001986, about 11.1% higher than at the start.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0,0011985 - €0,002236
    TEL started July around €0,0019855 and fell in the weeks that followed. In August, the price dropped to about €0,0011985, after which it recovered. During the same period, Telcoin stopped offering MiCA-regulated crypto services to users in the EU and EEA after the Polish transitional registration expired. Voting also began on an upgrade to the TEL token, which was meant to increase the number of decimals from 2 to 18, among other things. This change prepares TEL for use as the token for transaction fees on Telcoin Network. The price ended September around €0,0020935, about 5.4% higher than at the start of the quarter.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0,001607 - €0,002098
    TEL stood around €0,0020935 on October 1 and fell in the first days of the month. On October 8, the price dropped to about €0,001607. The next day, TEL was around €0,001652, about 21.1% lower than on October 1. During the same period, Telcoin Association Operations requested additional TEL to fund outstanding bills, activities through the end of the year, and extra network infrastructure for the planned mainnet launch. The proposal was not yet a final allocation of the requested tokens.

Upcoming Technical Updates


  • Telcoin Network mainnet - Expected in Q4 2026 - Telcoin Network is currently planned to go live as a production network in Q4 2026. That should move the network, which is validated by mobile network operators, beyond the existing test version. The updated TEL token will be used for transaction fees on the network. A final launch date is not yet known.
