  • 2020 - Price range: €0,04839 - €0,1348
    SKL became transferable on December 1 when SKALE Mainnet Phase 3 went live. In early December, the price was around €0,067 and quickly climbed to about €0,135. After that, it started to fall; by the end of December, SKL was around €0,065. At that point, the price was about 52% lower than the peak at the start of that month.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0,06132 - €1,023
    SKL started the year around €0,065 and surged above €1 in March. After that, the price gradually declined, with a sharp drop in May during the broad crypto market sell-off after new Chinese restrictions on crypto activity. SKL ended the year around €0,178, about 175,5% higher than at the start of the year.
  • 2022 - Price range: €0,01831 - €0,2956
    SKL started the year around €0,178 and rose to nearly €0,296 in March. After that, the price fell for a long stretch; in May, the collapse of Terra and UST lined up with heavy turmoil in the crypto market. In November, new market stress followed the collapse of FTX. SKL ended the year around €0,0185, about 89,6% lower than at the start.

    SKL started the year around €0,0185 and moved up in January and February, but then pulled back. In August, the price fell to about €0,0177. From that level, SKL recovered, with a strong rise in November and December to about €0,0828. In December, SKALE approved a subscription model under which operators would pay in SKL each month. The price ended the year around €0,0619, about 234,1% higher than at the start.

    SKL started January around €0,062 and rose to about €0,126 in the first quarter. In January, subscription fees for SKALE chains went live: operators paid in SKL, while users could keep making transactions without gas fees. After that, the price declined, reaching about €0,0255 in September, followed by a partial recovery. The price ended the year around €0,0458, about 26,1% lower than at the start.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0,0067784 - €0,06667
    SKL rose to about €0,0667 in January, but then declined over the course of the year. In October, a sharp drop lined up with a broad crypto sell-off and forced liquidations after an escalation in trade tensions between the US and China. After a low around €0,0068, the price partially recovered and ended the year around €0,0082. That was about 81,9% lower than at the start of the year.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0,0036514 - €0,01161
    SKL briefly rose to about €0,0116 in January, but then dropped sharply. In early February, the price fell to about €0,0037 during a broader wave of liquidations in the crypto market. After that, SKL recovered somewhat and ended the quarter around €0,0063. That was about 23,7% lower than at the start of the quarter.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0,0026582 - €0,008664
    SKL started April around €0,0061 and briefly rose to about €0,0087 in the middle of the month. After that, the price gradually declined, hitting a low around €0,0027 at the end of June. In June, the SIP-4 mechanism for SKALE on Base moved from testing to production. Half of the revenue from this infrastructure is used to burn SKL, while the other half goes to node operators. SKL ended the quarter around €0,0030, about 50,6% lower than at the start.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0,0028135 - €0,005454
    SKL rose quickly to about €0,0055 at the start of July, but then pulled back. In August, SKALE's IMA Bridge was hit by an attack and temporarily shut down, which meant affected tokens could no longer be moved through that bridge. SKALE said that SKL on Ethereum and staked SKL were not affected. After a low around €0,0028, the price recovered and ended the quarter around €0,0041, about 35% higher than at the start.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0,003858 - €0,005437
    At the start of October, SKL was trading around €0,0041 and briefly fell to about €0,0039 on October 7. After that, the price climbed to about €0,0054 and was around €0,0046 on October 9, about 13,2% higher than at the start of the month. On October 6, SKALE said that vulnerable internal ports on certain validator nodes had made the attack on the IMA Bridge possible. A secure node version had been rolled out, but the affected bridge remained shut down.
