  • 2022 - Price range: €0.1912 - €3.875
    RON was publicly launched on January 27 as the token for the existing Ronin network. The price then dropped sharply and reached about €0.19 in June. In March, the Ronin bridge was hacked, which temporarily paused transfers between Ethereum and Ronin. The bridge reopened at the end of June, and affected users were compensated. Later in the year, the crypto market saw more turbulence because of FTX's collapse. RON ended the year around €0.25, about 93.5% lower than at the January peak.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0.2477 - €1.88
    RON started the year around €0.25 and quickly rose to about €1 in January. The price then pulled back, but a new rally followed in the fall. In April, Ronin switched to Delegated Proof of Stake: token holders could delegate RON to validators and earn staking rewards. In October, players could also get started with the game Pixels through Ronin Wallet, which expanded the network beyond Axie Infinity. RON ended the year around €1.73, about 590.8% higher than at the start.
  • 2024 - Price range: €1.108 - €4.179
    RON rose from about €1.73 at the start of the year to around €4.18 in March. After that, the price gradually fell, with a low of about €1.11 in August. That month, the Ronin bridge was temporarily shut down after an upgrade caused a security bug. As a result, about $12 million in ETH and USDC was withdrawn, but the full amount was returned. In early 2024, the U.S. regulator approved spot bitcoin exchange-traded products, an important step for access to bitcoin through regulated markets. RON ended the year around €1.87, about 8% higher than at the start.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0.1074 - €1.995
    RON started the year around €1.87 and peaked in January near €2. After that, the price fell, with a temporary recovery to around €0.66 in May, but the decline continued later on. In August, Ronin announced plans to move from an Ethereum sidechain to an Ethereum Layer 2, and in September it chose the OP Stack; the transition was still not finished at that point. Several blockchain games also shut down in 2025, a tough period for the gaming sector where Ronin is active. RON ended the year around €0.11, about 94% lower than at the start.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.0668 - €0.1983
    RON started the quarter around €0.11 and briefly rose to nearly €0.20 in January. After that, the price dropped sharply and reached about €0.067 in February. A limited recovery followed in March; RON ended the quarter around €0.077, about 31.5% lower than at the start. During the same period, the migration of the Saigon testnet to Ethereum Layer 2 was completed, a test step toward the planned mainnet transition.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.047577 - €0.1210945
    RON started the quarter around €0.077 and climbed to about €0.12 in April and May. After that came a sharp drop: by the end of June, the price was around €0.048, about 60.4% lower than the May peak. On May 13, Ronin became an Ethereum Layer 2 based on the OP Stack, while RON remained the token for transaction fees. At the same time, the annual issuance of RON rewards fell from 45 million to 5 million, and rewards shifted more toward app builders.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.0400355 - €0.06986
    RON fell to about €0.040 in July and then recovered. In early September, the price briefly rose to about €0.070 before slipping back again. RON ended the quarter around €0.0565, about 17.9% higher than at the start. In September, Ronin added a RON Conviction multiplier to the calculation of builder rewards. Nomgar Clash also launched, a new game where players can burn supported game NFTs to unlock playing cards and earn rewards in bRON.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.05155 - €0.0641845
    In early October, RON rose to about €0.064, but after that the price fell to around €0.052. On October 7, the Karst upgrade went live. It aligned features with changes in Ethereum and added tools for managing key Layer 2 contracts. On October 9, RON was around €0.057, about 0.9% higher than on October 1.
