  • 2025 - Price range: €0.098208 - €0.3119174
    At the end of October, XPL was around €0.31. After that, the price dropped sharply and fell to about €0.098 in December. In the last days of the year, XPL recovered and closed around €0.137, about 56% lower than the October peak. Plasma launched its Mainnet Beta and the XPL token in September. The network also offered USDT transfers without transaction fees, among other things. The crypto market also saw a heavy sell-off in October, with many leveraged positions liquidated.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.05962 - €0.18301
    XPL started January around €0.137 and rose to about €0.183 in the first few days. After that, the price gradually fell, with a brief bounce at the end of January, and dropped to about €0.060 in early February. In March, XPL partly recovered and ended the quarter around €0.080, 41.6% lower than at the start. The drop in February came alongside a broad sell-off across the crypto market.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.052139 - €0.14387
    XPL started April around €0.080 and briefly jumped to about €0.144 in the first few days. After that, the price pulled back and mostly moved between about €0.070 and €0.095 in May. In June, XPL fell further to about €0.052, followed by a recovery. The price ended the quarter around €0.076, almost the same as at the start. In June, Plasma One went live: an app for stablecoin payments, transfers, and saving through lending markets.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.06234 - €0.1101295
    XPL briefly rose above €0.10 at the start of July, but then gradually fell. In early August, the price dropped to about €0.062. XPL then recovered and reached about €0.110 by the end of September, before falling back again. The quarter ended around €0.084, 10.5% higher than it started. On September 25, about 1.76 billion XPL became available to transfer on Plasma, when the first unlock for team and investor tokens took place.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.0712845 - €0.091682
    At the start of October, XPL was around €0.084 and briefly rose to about €0.092. After that, it fell in steps to about €0.071 and recovered slightly to around €0.075. At that point, the price was 10.6% lower than at the start of the quarter.

Upcoming Technical Updates


  • Multi-currency cards with Stripe - timing not yet known - Plasma and Stripe want to develop payment cards together that let customers pay directly from supported currency balances. This could reduce the need for unnecessary currency exchanges. The partnership has been announced, but the cards still need to be rolled out. A launch date is not yet known.
