  • 2020 - Price range: €0,0001984 - €1,177
    PancakeSwap launched on Binance Smart Chain in September, where users could trade BEP-20 tokens and provide liquidity. The price rose sharply early on, but then pulled back. By the end of December, CAKE was around €0,51.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0,3691 - €36,54
    CAKE started the year around €0,51 and rose quickly in the spring, reaching about €36,54 by the end of April. In April, PancakeSwap moved its exchange and liquidity pools from V1 to V2. After the peak, a long decline followed; during the broad crypto sell-off in May, the price dropped sharply. CAKE ended the year at €10,35, about 1927,3% higher than at the start.
  • 2022 - Price range: €2,394 - €11,02
    CAKE started the year around €10,35 and fell sharply in the first half. In May, TerraUSD and LUNA collapsed, causing heavy stress in the crypto and DeFi market. The price dropped to about €2,39 in June and then partially recovered. The collapse of FTX caused new broad market turmoil in November. CAKE ended the year at €2,96, about 71,4% lower than at the start.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0,9911 - €4,384
    CAKE started the year around €2,96 and climbed to about €4,38 in February. In April, PancakeSwap V3 went live on BNB Chain and Ethereum. That version gave liquidity providers more ways to put their money to work. Later that year, CAKE fell to €0,9911 before the price recovered strongly in the final months and ended the year at €3,18. The community also approved Tokenomics V2.5, which reduced the issuance of new CAKE. In December, the community also voted to cut the maximum supply from 750 million to 450 million CAKE. From the low point, CAKE rose about 220,8% by year-end.
  • 2024 - Price range: €1,089 - €4,787
    CAKE started the year around €3,18 and rose to about €4,79 in March. That month, PancakeSwap presented plans for a new exchange architecture, with customizable features for liquidity pools. The price then fell and reached about €1,09 in August. In the final months, CAKE recovered to €2,42. In January, the U.S. regulator approved exchange-traded products that gave investors access to bitcoin through regular brokerage accounts. CAKE ended the year about 23,9% lower than where it started.
  • 2025 - Price range: €1,102 - €3,954
    CAKE started the year around €2,42 and dropped to about €1,10 in early February. After that, the price recovered and rose to €3,95 in October. On October 10, a major flash crash hit the crypto market during rising trade tensions between the U.S. and China. CAKE then fell and ended the year at €1,60, about 33,7% lower than at the start. Meanwhile, PancakeSwap Infinity went live, a new version with more types of liquidity pools and lower transaction fees.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0,7385 - €2,252
    CAKE briefly rose to about €2,25 in January, but then dropped quickly. On January 19, PancakeSwap lowered the maximum supply from 450 million to 400 million CAKE. In February, bAXS went live, an AXS-backed token for use within the Axie ecosystem. Players could use bAXS for breeding, evolution, and staking, among other things. CAKE fell to €0,7385 on February 11 and then partially recovered to €1,20 by the end of March.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0,731 - €1,41295
    CAKE rose to about €1,41 in April, but then gradually slipped back. In May, PancakeSwap introduced an updated version of its perpetuals product, with an order book and different trading modes. The price reached €0,731 in early June and then recovered to €1,14735 by the end of the quarter.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0,9915 - €2,51355
    CAKE started July around €1,15 and initially moved very little. In August, the price picked up and in September it climbed further to about €2,51. In August, PancakeSwap said its Shared Inventory Hook was active for multiple tokenized-asset pools. That allowed the same issuer inventory to provide liquidity for different trading pairs. CAKE ended the quarter at €2,29, about 99,8% higher than at the start.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €1,85535 - €2,34575
    In the first days of October, CAKE fell from around €2,29 to €1,85535, after which the price recovered slightly to €1,9409 on October 9. PancakeSwap launched Dual Investment on BNB Chain on October 8. With this product, users can lock up crypto or stablecoins until a chosen settlement date and receive rewards for doing so. Depending on the market price, the payout can be in a different token.
