  • 2021 - Price range: €0.7844 - €8.107
    In early June, the price briefly shot up to about €8.11, but then quickly fell back. In July, Mina dropped to about €0.78 and then gradually recovered. On June 1, community tokens were released and Mina became available on multiple crypto exchanges. In September, another drop followed during the broader turmoil after stricter crypto measures in China. Mina ended the year around €3.12.
  • 2022 - Price range: €0.4041 - €3.749
    Mina started the year around €3.12 and climbed to about €3.75 in early January. After that, the price fell for a long time, with a brief rebound in the spring. In May, the collapse of Terra and UST came alongside heavy stress in the crypto market. In November, the fall of FTX caused broad turmoil again. Mina ended the year around €0.40, about 87% lower than at the start.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0.33 - €1.414
    Mina started the year around €0.40 and rose above €1 in January and February. After that, the price fell back and moved for months around €0.35 to €0.60. From October onward, a strong recovery followed: by the end of December, Mina had risen to €1.414. During the same period, Mina tested the planned Berkeley upgrade, which was meant to bring zkApps to the network, among other things. Over the full year, the price rose by about 249.5%.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0.301 - €1.742
    Mina started January around €1.41 and rose to about €1.74 in March. After that, a long decline followed, with a low around €0.30 in August. The price later recovered somewhat and ended the year at €0.5535, about 60.9% lower than at the start. In June, Mina rolled out the Berkeley upgrade: this allowed developers to build zkApps, or apps with zero-knowledge proofs, on the network. Earlier that year, U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs also launched, an important step for access to bitcoin through the traditional financial market.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0.0348 - €0.6523
    Mina started January around €0.55 and briefly rose to about €0.65 in the first week. After that, the price mostly declined, with a sharp drop in October to €0.0348. That drop came alongside a broad crypto sell-off and liquidations after a new escalation in trade tensions between the U.S. and China. Mina then recovered somewhat, but ended the year at €0.0643, about 88.4% lower than at the start. In March, the leadership and way of working at the Mina Foundation also changed. Later that year, o1Labs took over key operational tasks, including development, marketing, and community support.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.036 - €0.0854
    Mina briefly rose to about €0.085 in early January, but then gradually fell. In March, the price dropped to €0.036 and then recovered to €0.0458 by the end of the quarter. That left the price about 28.8% lower than at the start of the quarter. Meanwhile, the Mesa upgrade reached code freeze after testing and compatibility checks. The planned number of zkApp transactions per block was also adjusted to limit memory issues.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.0322 - €0.0879
    Mina started April around €0.0489 and initially moved fairly flat. In May, a brief spike followed to about €0.0879, after which the price fell again. By the end of June, Mina was around €0.0333, about 32% lower than at the start of the quarter. During the same period, Mina launched Mesa Trail, a public testnet where the upgrade to Mesa and the related network steps could be tested. Protokit also became available on Devnet, allowing developers to build and test more complex apps.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.03254 - €0.13975
    Mina started July around €0.0333 and mostly moved around €0.04 in the first few weeks. After dropping to about €0.0325 in August, the price rose sharply and reached about €0.1398 in September. Mina ended the quarter at €0.127955, an increase of about 284.8% from the start. In September, the Mesa upgrade was also rolled out on mainnet. The time between block slots was cut from 180 to 90 seconds, and zkApps got more room for data and transactions.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.066445 - €0.152795
    Mina rose in the first days of October from about €0.1279 to a peak around €0.1528. After that, a sharp drop followed: on October 8, the price fell to about €0.0664. One day later, Mina was around €0.0698, about 45.5% lower than on October 1.
