  • 2020 - Price range: €0.223 - €3.103
    Starting in June, HNT rose from about €0.22 to €3.10 in September. After that, the price pulled back and ended the year around €1.06. In September, Helium and RAKwireless introduced a cheaper hotspot, making it easier for more people to use hardware to expand the network. In November, the community approved a maximum supply and planned halvings of HNT issuance.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0.972 - €48.25
    HNT started the year around €1.06 and climbed sharply over the course of the year. After a steady rise, the price accelerated in the fall and reached about €48.25 in November. That was followed by a pullback; HNT ended the year around €33.28, still about 3,038.7% higher than at the start. In August, the planned yearly HNT issuance was cut in half from 60 million to 30 million tokens.
  • 2022 - Price range: €1.42 - €39.76
    HNT started the year around €33.32 and rose further in the first few days to about €39.76. After that, the price fell sharply over the year and ended around €1.43, about 95.7% lower than at the start. The collapse of Terra and UST in May and the fall of FTX in November caused major turmoil in the crypto market. That year, Helium also approved a move to Solana; the actual migration followed in 2023.
  • 2023 - Price range: €1.07 - €8.964
    HNT started the year around €1.43, dropped to about €1.07 in March, and then gradually recovered. In December, the rise sped up: the price climbed to €8.964 and ended the year around €6.28, about 339.1% higher than at the start. In April, Helium moved its tokens and network data to Solana. Later that year, Helium Mobile launched a nationwide unlimited mobile plan in the United States, giving the network a mobile phone use case as well.
  • 2024 - Price range: €2.60 - €10.18
    HNT started the year around €6.28 and rose to about €10.18 in February. After that, the price fell, hitting a low of €2.60 in July, before recovering to €5.68 at the end of December. That was about 9.6% lower than at the start of the year. In January, Telefónica and Nova Labs announced a trial that let customers in Mexico route mobile traffic through Helium hotspots. At the start of 2024, U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs were also approved, an important step for institutional access to bitcoin.
  • 2025 - Price range: €1.1522 - €6.80
    HNT rose to about €6.80 in early January, but then fell for most of the year. After a brief recovery in April, the price stayed much lower through the summer and fall, and HNT ended the year around €1.16. That was about 79.6% lower than at the start. From the end of January, network participants were rewarded in HNT again instead of the separate IOT and MOBILE tokens. In August, the planned yearly HNT issuance was cut in half from 15 million to 7.5 million tokens.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.5956 - €1.4645
    HNT rose to about €1.46 in early January, but then steadily declined. In early February, the price fell to €0.5956, after which a strong recovery followed. HNT ended March around €0.93, about 20.2% lower than at the start of the quarter. In January, Helium changed the rewards for collecting location data: less went to that activity and more went to network services and data traffic. In March, the revamped Helium World environment also went live, with simpler management of hotspots and rewards.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.1997 - €1.037605
    HNT started April around €0.93 and briefly rose to about €1.04 that month. After that, the price declined steadily, hitting a low of €0.1997 at the end of June. HNT ended the quarter around €0.21, about 77.4% lower than at the start. In May, Helium added Expansion Zones to Helium World: areas where providers wanted extra coverage, so hotspot operators could better see where placement was needed. In June, Helium introduced HIP-149, a proposal to tie rewards more closely to actual network usage and provider revenue.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.143975 - €0.854725
    HNT started July around €0.21 and kept falling in the weeks that followed. In mid-August, the price dropped to about €0.144, after which a sharp rise followed. By the end of August, HNT had climbed to €0.854725, but then the price gave back much of those gains and ended the quarter around €0.43. That was about 103.5% higher than at the start. On August 31, new reward multipliers went live, allowing locations with high demand for network coverage to receive higher rewards. A day later, Helium launched HeliumOS, software for providers, mobile carriers, and large venues to manage their connectivity.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.424 - €0.571515
    Through October 9, HNT mostly traded around €0.44 at first. On October 4, the price briefly rose to about €0.57, then fell back again and stood around €0.45 on October 9. On October 8, Helium reported that the first Wakefern cooperative stores were live on the network. Existing Wi-Fi in supermarkets was used there to handle mobile traffic from providers.
