  • 2024 - Price range: €0,1752 - €1,42
    ENA launched on April 2 as Ethena's governance token. The price rose to €1,42 in April, then fell for months and ended up at €0,1752 in September. After that, the price recovered strongly and ended the year at €0,8766, more than 400,3% higher than the lowest point. In December, Ethena launched USDtb, a separate dollar token that could serve as extra backing for USDe.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0,1177 - €1,2726
    ENA started January at €0,8766 and climbed to €1,2726 in the first few days. That was followed by a long decline. In February, crypto exchange Bybit was hit by a major hack. Because Ethena had placed part of its trading positions with Bybit, the project moved some of its hedges to other parties to limit counterparty risk. Ethena said USDe itself was not directly affected by the hack. In October, ENA dropped to €0,1177 during a broad sell-off and a temporary deviation in the USDe price on some exchanges. The price then recovered and ended the year at €0,1698, 80,6% lower than at the start.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0,07539 - €0,22498
    ENA rose to €0,22498 in early January, but then fell for almost the entire quarter. In February, the broad sell-off in the crypto market accelerated, while Ethena shifted more of its USDe backing to liquid stablecoins. By the end of March, ENA was at €0,07851, about 53,8% lower than at the start of the quarter.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0,060631 - €0,1188
    ENA started April around €0,0785 and rose to €0,1188 in May. After that, the price fell back and reached €0,060631 in June. The drop came alongside wider DeFi concerns after an attack on Kelp's rsETH bridge. Ethena temporarily paused its own bridge as a precaution. The price ended the quarter at €0,0632, about 19,5% lower than at the start.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0,061803 - €0,2587
    ENA started July around €0,0632 and initially moved very little. From August onward, the price climbed quickly, reaching €0,2587 by the end of September. In August, the Ethena Foundation announced it would speed up the remaining release of investor tokens to October. The Foundation also proposed using revenue to buy back ENA under certain conditions. This proposal was approved in September, but buybacks would only begin once USDe supply reached set limits. The price ended at €0,2337, about 269,8% higher than at the start of the quarter.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0,17465 - €0,24565
    In October, ENA fell from €0,2337. The price reached €0,17465 and then recovered to €0,189636 on October 9. That was about 18,9% lower than at the start of the month. On October 6, ether.fi announced its own stablecoin with Ethena Whitelabel as the provider of reserves and issuance infrastructure, among other things.
