  • 2019 - Price range: €0.0284 - €0.548
    The price first moved around €0.20 in July and briefly peaked later that month at €0.548. After that, Dusk dropped sharply to around €0.028 in November, followed by a small recovery to €0.0386 at the end of the year. On July 22, Binance announced five trading pairs for Dusk, making the token tradable on a major crypto exchange.
  • 2020 - Price range: €0.0099 - €0.1095
    Dusk started the year around €0.0386 and fell to about €0.0099 during the broad sell-off in the crypto market in March. After that, the price gradually recovered and rose to €0.1095 in August. In the months that followed, the price fell again and ended the year around €0.0368, about 4.4% lower than at the start. The sharp drop in March came as part of the global sell-off in risky assets because of pandemic concerns.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0.0352 - €1.027
    Dusk started the year around €0.0368 and rose sharply in February and March. After a pullback in the spring, the price moved around €0.10 for several months, before the rally accelerated at the end of the year. Dusk reached about €1.027 in December and finished around €0.824, an increase of about 2,138.1% over the year. In June, Dusk launched a $5 million grant program for projects focused on privacy technology and DeFi.
  • 2022 - Price range: €0.0713 - €0.9375
    Dusk started the year around €0.824 and rose further in January to about €0.937. After that, the price fell, with a brief bounce in March around the launch of DayBreak, Dusk's public testnet. The decline continued later in the year. In May, the collapse of Terra and UST put heavy stress on the crypto market; in November, new turmoil followed the fall of FTX. Dusk ended the year around €0.0775, about 90.6% lower than at the start.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0.0756 - €0.2809
    Dusk started the year around €0.0775 and quickly rose in January and February to about €0.2809. After that, the price pulled back and mostly moved between about €0.09 and €0.17 for months. In December, Dusk picked up again and ended the year around €0.1891, about 143.9% higher than at the start. A key development for Dusk's focus on regulated financial markets was the launch of the European DLT Pilot Regime in March. This framework makes trading and settlement of tokenized financial instruments possible under certain conditions.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0.1283 - €0.6336
    Dusk first dropped to about €0.14 in January, but then rose sharply and reached €0.6336 in March. In the spring, the price pulled back; after a low around €0.1283 in August, it recovered to €0.2285 at the end of the year. That was about 20.8% higher than at the start of 2024. In March, Dusk and NPEX announced a commercial partnership for the issuance and trading of financial instruments via blockchain. The first U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs were approved in January, an important development for regulated access to bitcoin.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0.0245 - €0.2556
    Dusk started the year around €0.2285 and briefly rose to €0.2556 in January. After that, the price fell in steps: in April it dropped below €0.07 and in October to about €0.0245. In the last few months, a partial recovery followed; Dusk ended the year around €0.04, about 82.5% lower than at the start. Meanwhile, in January Dusk made the move to an operational mainnet. That brought native staking, transaction fees, and the ability to build applications on the network.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.0395 - €0.2826
    Dusk started January around €0.04 and rose quickly. On January 19, the price climbed to €0.2826, after which a sharp drop followed. After further swings in February, Dusk mostly moved between about €0.07 and €0.11 in March. The quarter ended around €0.0897, about 124.2% higher than the start. In January, a wallet on the Dusk bridge was compromised, and according to the project about 10.9 million Dusk was stolen. Dusk temporarily paused the bridge and added extra security measures. According to the project, no user funds were affected.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.0637 - €0.1505
    Dusk started April around €0.089 and rose in the first half of the month to about €0.1505. After that, the price gradually moved lower. In June, Dusk mostly traded between about €0.07 and €0.10 and ended the quarter around €0.0653, about 26.6% lower than at the start. On June 10, the Boreas upgrade was rolled out during a coordinated mainnet restart. Among other things, it changed how transactions are processed and how fees are calculated.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.0485 - €0.0841
    Dusk fell in July and August from about €0.065 to around €0.0485. After that, the price gradually recovered and rose to about €0.0841 in September. The quarter ended around €0.0793, about 21.4% higher than at the start. In July, the final transition period under MiCA ended. Crypto providers still relying on a temporary transition arrangement had to have the required license from that point on.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.0654 - €0.0886
    In the first days of October, Dusk fell from about €0.079 to around €0.069. On October 8, the price briefly dropped to about €0.0654 and recovered the next day to €0.071. Around the same time, Dusk reported that transfers from Dusk mainnet to BNB Smart Chain were temporarily taking about ten hours instead of one hour. The project had extended processing time as a precautionary extra security measure.

Upcoming Technical Updates


  • Dusk Domains mainnet launch - Expected in October 2026 - Dusk Domains is scheduled to launch on mainnet by October 18 at the latest, depending on the completion of security checks. The app is meant to make readable .Dusk names possible for blockchain addresses. Users will be able to trade domain names with Dusk in escrow, with tokens held temporarily during the transaction. The protocol's revenue is intended to be used to provide on-chain liquidity for Dusk.
