COTI Price History


  • 2019 - Price range: €0,00565 - €0,1126
    The price was around €0,085 at the start of June and rose to about €0,113 at the start of July. After that, COTI dropped sharply; in November, the price was around €0,00565. A recovery followed in December, but the year ended around €0,00757, about 93.3% lower than the peak. The public Trustchain mainnet launch on June 4 moved the network and token into a broader public phase.
  • 2020 - Price range: €0,00713 - €0,08171
    COTI started the year around €0,00757 and gradually moved higher in the first few months. After a sharp drop in March, the price recovered and the climb sped up in the summer, reaching about €0,0817 by the end of August. After that, the price pulled back and ended the year around €0,0384, still about 407.3% higher than at the start. In January, COTI launched a staking platform, which let holders lock up tokens to support the network and earn rewards.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0,03602 - €0,5904
    COTI started the year around €0,0384 and rose strongly, especially from February onward. In March, the price climbed above €0,40, followed by a pullback. Later in the year, the price recovered and peaked around €0,5904 at the end of October. Coinbase Pro announced support for the ERC-20 version of COTI in August. In September, COTI was named as the issuer of Djed, Cardano's planned stablecoin. The price ended the year at about €0,3123, 713.1% higher than at the start.
  • 2022 - Price range: €0,04973 - €0,3737
    COTI started the year around €0,3123 and rose further in early January to about €0,3737. After that, the price fell, with a short bounce in the spring, and stood around €0,089 at the end of June. In May, TerraUSD lost its peg to the dollar and the Terra ecosystem collapsed; the event also put the discussion around algorithmic stablecoins, such as Djed, into a broader context. In November, FTX collapsed, which caused fresh turmoil in the crypto market. COTI ended the year around €0,04995, about 84% lower than at the start.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0,0333 - €0,1159
    COTI rose quickly in January from about €0,05 to nearly €0,116. After that, the price gradually moved lower and reached about €0,0333 in October. In the final months, COTI recovered to around €0,0653 by the end of the year. That was 30.7% higher than at the start. An important step for the project was the launch of Djed on the Cardano mainnet in January. Djed is an overcollateralized stablecoin that uses ADA as reserve and SHEN as the reserve token. Through the app, users could mint and redeem DJED and SHEN, depending on the available reserves.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0,0444 - €0,2793
    COTI first dropped in January to about €0,0444. In February, a sharp rise followed to around €0,2793. After that, the price fell during the spring and summer before moving higher again in the fall. COTI ended the year around €0,114, about 74.6% higher than at the start. In May, the COTI V2 developer network went live, allowing developers to test applications with confidential computations. In September, the privacy testnet launched with extra testing tools for developers.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0,01664 - €0,13547
    COTI started the year around €0,114 and peaked in the first few days at about €0,1355. After that, the price fell, with a few short rebounds, and dropped below €0,07 in February. For the rest of the year, the price mostly kept falling and ended at about €0,0176, 84.6% lower than at the start. On March 26, COTI V2 went live on mainnet, a privacy-focused Layer 2 on Ethereum that lets developers run confidential computations. The rollout of applications and additional network features happened in phases. Existing holders also got options to move their tokens over. In addition, COTI introduced a model with new token issuance to reward network and ecosystem participants.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0,00866 - €0,02083
    COTI first rose in January to about €0,0208, but then fell in a series of drops to around €0,00866 in early March. For the rest of the quarter, the price recovered gradually and ended around €0,01114. That was about 36.7% lower than at the start of the quarter. In January, COTI rolled out the Helium upgrade, which gave the network extra capabilities for confidential computations. In March, the project announced Nightfall, a separate Ethereum rollup for confidential applications; at the time, it was not live yet.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0,0069205 - €0,0136025
    COTI first rose in April to about €0,0136. After that, the move reversed and the price kept falling in May and June, ending the quarter around €0,007. That was about 37.1% lower than at the start. In May, COTI announced that it would gradually phase out the old V1 infrastructure. That was an announcement of the process, not proof that the old network had already been shut down at that point.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0,0062715 - €0,0231675
    COTI first fell in July to about €0,00627. After that, a strong but choppy rise followed: the price climbed above €0,017 by the end of July and peaked in September around €0,0232. COTI then pulled back and ended the quarter around €0,01169. That was 66.9% higher than at the start of the quarter. In September, COTI launched Privacy-on-Demand and the Privacy Portal on Avalanche. This let users convert, among other things, AVAX and USDC into privacy-focused versions, with balances and transaction amounts hidden. Not all transaction details were hidden.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0,010841 - €0,013081
    At the start of October, COTI first rose to about €0,0131. After that, the price fell for a few days and stood around €0,0114 on October 9. At that point, the price was about 2.5% lower than on October 1. On October 8, COTI presented a new strategy around private payments and products such as Interphase and COTI Global. Those products were not available yet at that time.

Upcoming Technical Updates


  • COTI Global – Expected in Q4 2026 – Q1 2027 - COTI plans COTI Global as an app for private payments. The first version should include payments, payment requests, encrypted notes, and a private transaction history. With this, the project wants to make its privacy technology directly available to consumers.
  • Interphase – Expected in Q4 2026 – Q1 2027 - COTI plans to make private transactions possible between Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin, and TRON with Interphase. The transactions are supposed to go live after independent security audits and can be received in wallets whose address is not linked to earlier transactions.
