  • 2021 - Price range: €0.0327 - €0.1633
    At the beginning of December, PEOPLE was trading around €0.055. The price first dropped to about €0.033 and then quickly climbed to around €0.163. ConstitutionDAO had raised about $47 million in November to bid on an original U.S. Constitution, but lost the auction and then made refunds possible. On December 23, Binance announced a listing; PEOPLE ended the year around €0.103, after a drop of about 36.8% from the peak.
  • 2022 - Price range: €0.01008 - €0.1223
    PEOPLE started the year around €0.103 and rose to about €0.122 in early January. After that, the price fell sharply and dropped to around €0.010 in May. That month, TerraUSD lost its peg to the dollar and the Terra ecosystem collapsed, causing major turmoil in the crypto market. In November, FTX collapsed, which again caused broad market stress. PEOPLE ended the year around €0.0189, about 81.7% lower than at the start.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0.007904 - €0.03052
    PEOPLE started the year around €0.0189 and rose to about €0.028 in January. After a brief peak in February, the price kept falling through the year. In March, the separate PeopleDAO community lost about 76.5 ETH after an attacker added a hidden payment to a payout spreadsheet. This was not a hack of the PEOPLE token. In September, the price dropped to about €0.0079 and ended the year around €0.0122, about 35.6% lower than at the start.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0.01043 - €0.1336
    PEOPLE started January around €0.0122 and quickly rose above €0.04 in the first few days. After a quieter period, a new rally followed from the end of February. The price climbed to about €0.1336 in June, but then pulled back and ended the year around €0.0444. In the first half of the year, PEOPLE also got attention as a political memecoin, despite its origins as a crowdfunding token. The broader crypto market also got an institutional boost when the U.S. regulator approved spot bitcoin exchange-traded products. PEOPLE ended the year 265.4% higher than at the start.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0.006025 - €0.04987
    PEOPLE started January around €0.0444 and rose in the first few days to nearly €0.0499. After that, the price mostly declined, with short rebounds in spring and summer. On October 10, PEOPLE dropped to about €0.0060 during a broad crypto sell-off. That day, rising trade tensions between the United States and China came together with forced selling in the crypto market. The price later recovered somewhat and ended the year around €0.00805, about 81.9% lower than at the start.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.0047295 - €0.01064
    PEOPLE started January around €0.00804 and rose to about €0.0106 early in the month. After that, the price gradually declined and dropped to around €0.00473 in early February. This happened during a broader sell-off in the crypto market, where forced selling added to the decline. PEOPLE then partially recovered and ended the quarter around €0.00572, about 28.9% lower than at the start.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.0041869 - €0.00787245
    PEOPLE started April around €0.00568 and rose to above €0.007 in the middle of the month. After that, the price pulled back, followed by another rebound in early May to about €0.00787. In April, ESMA clarified what crypto providers had to do if they did not have a license after the end of the European transition period: wind down their services in an orderly way or move customers. PEOPLE then kept falling and ended June around €0.00435, about 23.4% lower than at the start of the quarter.

    PEOPLE started July around €0.00435 and mostly moved sideways at first. From the end of July, the price moved up and in August it climbed further to about €0.0112. After that came a pullback, although the price partially recovered again in September. In the same period, the European transition period for MiCA ended on July 1. Providers without the required license were no longer allowed to offer services to EU customers under that transition arrangement. PEOPLE ended September around €0.00827, about 90.1% higher than at the start of the quarter.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.0065907 - €0.0088262
    In the first days of October, PEOPLE briefly rose to about €0.00883. After that, the price fell and dropped to around €0.00659 on October 8. A day later, the price was around €0.00709, still about 14.3% lower than on October 1.
