  • 2019 - Price range: €0,002939 - €0,02698
    At the end of March, CELR rose to about €0,02698. After that, the price fell for a long time, with brief rebounds in May and December. By the end of December, CELR was around €0,00318, about 88.2% lower than at the March peak. In July, Celer launched Cygnus, the first alpha mainnet version of its network. This let apps process transactions outside the Ethereum blockchain and settle the results on Ethereum later.
  • 2020 - Price range: €0,000905 - €0,01164
    CELR started the year around €0,00318 and fell during the financial market turmoil in March to about €0,000905. After that, the price recovered strongly and rose to about €0,01164 in August. In November, the State Guardian Network went live. CELR holders could stake their tokens there to help secure the network. By the end of December, the price was around €0,00361, about 13.5% higher than at the start of the year.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0,003589 - €0,1695
    CELR started the year around €0,00361 and gradually rose in the first few months. After a pullback in April and May, the price climbed again later, reaching a peak around €0,1695 in September. After that, CELR dropped back and ended the year at about €0,0644. Over the full year, the price rose about 1,684.7%. In April, Celer launched layer2.finance on Ethereum and brought cBridge live in July, which let users move tokens between different blockchains.

    CELR started the year around €0,0644 and climbed to about €0,08799 in January. After that, the price fell for almost the entire year, with a short rebound in March and April. The collapse of Terra and UST led to heavy turmoil in the crypto market in May. In November, new market stress followed when FTX filed for bankruptcy. CELR ended the year around €0,00883, about 86.3% lower than at the start. In August, cBridge users were hit by a website attack. Through manipulation of internet routing, some visitors were sent to a malicious interface. In total, 32 users lost about 235,000 dollars. The underlying bridge contracts were not directly affected.

    CELR started the year around €0,00883 and rose in the first few months to about €0,02873 in April. After that, the price fell back and traded for a long time around €0,01 to €0,02. By the end of December, CELR was around €0,02031, about 129.9% higher than at the start of the year. In March, USDC temporarily lost its peg to the dollar after Circle announced that part of its reserves were held at Silicon Valley Bank. That turmoil also affected stablecoins and liquidity in DeFi applications.

At the beginning of 2024, the U.S. SEC approved the listing of spot bitcoin investment products, an important step that made it easier for investors to get exposure to bitcoin through regular investment accounts. In August, Celer also became one of the partners of BNB Chain's official bridge interface, which bundled transfer routes between blockchains.

    CELR started January around €0,01875 and rose to about €0,02094 early that month. After that, the price fell for almost the entire year, with a short rebound in April and May. On October 10, CELR dropped to about €0,00202. In June, Celer launched Celer Intent on mainnet, a system that lets market makers provide liquidity on request for transfers between blockchains. The first version was available through cBridge on BNB Chain and Arbitrum. CELR ended the year around €0,00313, about 83.3% lower than at the start.

    CELR started January around €0,00313 and rose in the first few days to about €0,00421. After that, the price fell, hitting a low around €0,00166 in early February. In March, CELR partially recovered and ended the quarter around €0,00211, about 32.5% lower than at the start. The drop happened during the broader sell-off in the crypto market in early February, when investors pulled money out of risky assets and there were outflows from spot bitcoin funds.

In September, a procedural vote on the CLARITY Act in the U.S. Senate did not get the required majority. As a result, work on the bill for clearer crypto rules stalled for now.
