  • 2023 - Price range: €0.1441 - €4.836
    Blur launched on February 14, and the price then fluctuated sharply. After an early peak, the price quickly fell back and kept dropping in the months that followed, to around €0.14 in October. A recovery followed in November: by the end of December, Blur was at €0.4446, more than 208.5% higher than at the October low.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0.09896 - €0.7698
    Blur started the year around €0.44 and climbed to nearly €0.77 in February. After that, the price fell, with a sharp drop in April, and reached about €0.10 in August. That year, Blur expanded trading to Blast, while the U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs were approved in early January. Blur ended the year at €0.231756, about 47.9% lower than at the start.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0.020954 - €0.272717
    Blur started the year around €0.23, but from January onward it fell for almost the entire year. In May, OpenSea launched OS2: an updated platform for NFT and token trading on 19 chains, with a new rewards program. On October 10, a broad sell-off hit the crypto market after new U.S. import tariff threats; that day, Blur dropped to about €0.021. The price ended the year at €0.023701, about 89.8% lower than at the start.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.014393 - €0.038998
    Blur briefly rose to nearly €0.039 in January, but then gave back most of those gains. In February, the price fell to about €0.014 and stayed around that low level through the end of March. During the same period, Nifty Gateway stopped normal marketplace activity and Magic Eden pulled back from NFT trading on Ethereum and Bitcoin. Blur ended the quarter at €0.014975, about 36.8% lower than at the start.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.01189 - €0.03367
    Blur started April around €0.018 and later that month rose to about €0.034. That was followed by a steady decline, with a temporary recovery in May. In June, the price fell further and ended the quarter at €0.012449, about 30.9% lower than at the start. In April, NFT marketplace Foundation confirmed it would not reopen, another sign of the sector contraction Blur operates in.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.0110305 - €0.0260325
    At the start of July, Blur briefly rose to about €0.026, but then fell back and stayed around €0.011 in August. In the second half of August and in September, the price gradually recovered to €0.018683 at the end of the quarter. In September, it became clear that old Magic Eden NFT permissions exposed users to a vulnerability in a former trading contract. A rescue effort secured more than 23,000 NFTs, but not all exposed funds could be saved.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.0159635 - €0.020096
    From October 1 through October 9, Blur fell from €0.01868 to €0.017006. The price first climbed to about €0.020 and then dropped back, with a small recovery on October 9.

Upcoming Technical Updates


  • Website shutdown and stop to new Blend loans - Expected in November 2026 - Blur will shut down the website on November 12 and stop issuing new loans through Blend. Existing borrowers must repay their loans by that date or let them default. After that, Blur says it will provide a tool that lets users withdraw their assets from Blend. The marketplace contracts will keep running on Ethereum, and Blur holders will keep control over activating protocol fees.
