Axie Infinity Price History


  • 2020 - Price range: €0.1042 - €0.6934
    After AXS was introduced in the public sale in October, the token became available on Binance and Uniswap in November. The price dropped to about €0.10 in early November and then quickly climbed to nearly €0.69. By the end of December, the price had fallen back to about €0.44.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0.344 - €143.16
    AXS started the year around €0.44 and rose sharply over the course of the year. In April, players could move their Axies and tokens to Ronin, making them less dependent on Ethereum and lowering transaction costs. Growth accelerated later: AXS climbed to about €143 in November, but ended the year after a pullback around €82. That was about 18,509.2% higher than at the start of the year.
  • 2022 - Price range: €5.495 - €86.01
    AXS started the year around €82 and fell sharply over the course of the year. In March, the Ronin bridge was hacked, affecting the network that connected the Axie economy with other networks. The bridge reopened at the end of June after security changes. In November, the collapse of FTX caused broad turmoil in the crypto market. AXS ended the year around €5.63, about 93.1% lower than at the start.
  • 2023 - Price range: €3.779 - €12.70
    AXS started the year around €5.63 and rose to about €12.70 in January. After that, the price gradually declined; in September it was around €3.78. Later in the year, AXS recovered and ended around €8.06, about 43.1% higher than at the start. In June, the SEC named AXS in a lawsuit against Coinbase as a token that the regulator said was offered and sold as a security. This was an allegation, not a court ruling.
  • 2024 - Price range: €3.50991 - €12.33583
    AXS started the year around €8.06 and climbed to about €12.34 in March. After that, the price fell, with a low around €3.51 in August. By the end of the year, AXS recovered to about €5.99, but that was still 25.7% lower than at the start. In January, the U.S. regulator approved exchange-traded products for spot bitcoin, an important step for regulated access to bitcoin.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0.66986 - €7.17696
    AXS started the year around €5.99 and rose to about €7.18 in early January. After that, the price dropped sharply. In March, Sky Mavis announced Atia's Legacy, an MMO game in the Axie universe, and players could sign up for a test. The price continued to fall later and ended the year around €0.68: about 88.6% lower than at the start.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.6729 - €2.51209
    AXS started January around €0.68 and rose quickly. The price climbed to about €2.51 in the second half of the month, but then pulled back. In February, bAXS became usable for breeding, evolution, and staking within the Axie ecosystem, among other things. By the end of March, AXS was around €0.97, still about 42.5% higher than at the start of the quarter.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.7480678 - €1.5227055
    AXS started April around €0.97 and initially stayed close to that level. At the end of April, the price jumped to about €1.52, after which it fell again. In early June, AXS dropped to about €0.75 and then partially recovered. In June, Axie Terrariums V1 launched and Homeland closed. In Terrariums, landowners can stake Axies to earn bAXS rewards. AXS ended the quarter around €0.84, about 13.4% lower than at the start.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.698545 - €1.08321
    AXS started July around €0.84 and fell to about €0.70 by the end of that month. After that, the price gradually recovered and rose to about €1.08 in September. In September, Sky Mavis announced that Classic Season 16 was the last competitive edition under the company's direct management. Axie Classic remained available, while further development and management would gradually be handed over to the community. The price ended the quarter around €1.02, about 21.2% higher than at the start.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.99238 - €1.29377
    In the first days of October, AXS rose from about €1.02 to nearly €1.29. After that, the price pulled back and stood at around €1.05 on October 9, about 3% higher than on October 1.

Upcoming Technical Updates


  • Transfer of the intellectual property of Axie Classic to the Axie Foundation - timing not yet known - The legal transfer still needs to be completed. After that, the Axie Foundation can help the community keep developing Axie Classic, including through Axie Governance and the Classic Origins Resurrection Committee. No date is known yet.
