  • 2020 - Price range: €0,0006697 - €0,01467
    The price moved gradually downward in September and October. In early November, there was a short spike to about €0,01467, after which the price quickly fell back. In mid-November, Amp was around €0,00067. After that, the price recovered to €0,00536 at the end of the year, more than 700,1% higher than that low point. Amp was introduced in September as collateral for payments through Flexa. At the same time, Flexacoin holders got the option to convert their tokens to Amp, which replaced Flexacoin as the collateral token within the Flexa network.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0,004486 - €0,09992
    Amp started the year around €0,00536 and rose sharply in the spring. In June, the price climbed to nearly €0,10, after which it dropped. In November, Amp briefly bounced back, but the price ended the year at €0,04248, about 57,5% lower than the June peak. In June, Amp became available on Coinbase, making the token accessible to more users through a major trading platform.
  • 2022 - Price range: €0,002836 - €0,04927
    Amp started the year around €0,04248, but then fell for almost the entire year. In May, the price dropped further during the turmoil that followed the collapse of Terra and UST. In November, the fall of FTX once again caused broad stress in the crypto market. Amp ended the year around €0,002845, about 93,3% lower than at the start. There was also uncertainty around trading Amp in the United States: the SEC named Amp in a case as a possible security, and Binance.US announced it would delist the token from its platform.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0,001261 - €0,008211
    Amp started the year around €0,00285 and briefly rose in February to about €0,00821. After that, the price gradually fell, hitting a low around €0,00126 in October. In the last months of the year, Amp recovered and ended around €0,00332, 16,8% higher than at the start of the year. In February, the Ampera Foundation was introduced as an independent foundation for the Amp ecosystem. The foundation also announced development of a collateral protocol that can work with different types of assets.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0,002523 - €0,01626
    Amp started the year around €0,00334 and quickly climbed in March to about €0,01626. After that, the price dropped sharply and was around €0,00252 in early August. A recovery followed for the rest of the year, with a closing price of €0,00717. That meant the price ended about 115% higher than at the start of the year. In August, Flexa launched Components: tools that let developers build digital payments directly into crypto wallets. Later in the year, Zashi became the first wallet to use the Flexa SDK, allowing users to pay with Zcash at thousands of stores.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0,001069 - €0,01009
    Amp started the year around €0,00717 and briefly rose in January to about €0,01009. After that, the price mostly declined and reached about €0,00107 in October. By the end of December, Amp was back around €0,00160, but that was still 77,7% lower than at the start of the year. In February, Flexa released Capacity v3. This version rebuilt the platform for Amp collateral around Anvil and changed, among other things, how monthly rewards and extra rewards per pool were distributed.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0,0005468 - €0,002336
    Amp started January around €0,00160 and briefly rose to about €0,00234. After that, the price fell, hitting a low around €0,00055 at the end of March. Amp ended the quarter at €0,0009026, 43,6% lower than at the start. Flexa stopped SPEDN on March 31, the consumer app that let users spend crypto. The shutdown had no effect on the existence of Amp or Flexa's payment infrastructure.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0,0002533 - €0,001049
    Amp started April around €0,0008997 and then mostly declined. At the end of April and in May, the price stayed around €0,0007 before falling further in June to about €0,000253. Toward the end of the quarter, there was a small recovery; Amp closed at €0,0003848, 57,2% lower than at the start. In June, Flexa announced a leadership change: co-founder Trevor Filter was chosen as the new CEO, and Upneet Teji took on the role of president in addition to her legal role.

    Amp started July around €0,0003848 and fell in the weeks that followed. From a low around €0,0003068 in August, the price moved up again. At the end of September, there was a sharp spike to about €0,0007573, after which Amp fell back to €0,0005584. Over the quarter, the price rose 45,1% overall. In July, Flexa expanded its services to Europe: businesses, institutions, and developers in the Single Euro Payments Area could use the infrastructure for payments with digital assets and payouts.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0,0005041 - €0,0007698
    In the first days of October, Amp moved around €0,00056. On October 7, the price dropped to about €0,000504, after which it rose the next day to about €0,0007698. On October 9, Amp was at €0,0005851, 4,6% higher than on October 1. Around the same time, the U.S. regulator CFTC asked for feedback on a possible federal regulatory framework for crypto transactions and trading platforms, including leveraged trading. No final new rules had been set yet.
