Chainlink operates through a network of decentralized oracles, which are essentially nodes that retrieve and verify data from external sources. Additionally, Chainlink utilizes tamper-proof hardware known as Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) to enhance data security and protect against manipulation. These TEEs ensure that data is securely transmitted and processed within the node operators' hardware, preventing unauthorized access or modification.
